The first prediction of an oxide TI, BaBiO3, with the largest energy gap

The first prediction of an oxide TI, BaBiO3, with the largest energy gap. The perovskite BaBiO3 has been known as a superconductor with Tc ~ 30 K. We discovered that it is also a TI with Eg = 0.7 eV and Z2 (1; 111). It supplies a platform of interplay between superconductivity and topological surface states, to hunt for Maojorana Fermions [1].
