Welcome to the visitors' program of MPI CPfS

The Visitors’ Program provides information and support for new and prospective foreign scientists coming to the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids in Dresden. Each year, the institute hosts a large number of visiting graduate students, postdocs and senior scientists from all over the world.
The Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids is one of the 80 research institutes of the  Max Planck Society (MPG).
Our aim is to make the transition of our visitors smooth and fast, so they can profit from a successful and exciting work period at the MPI CPfS. We will help you with the following issues:
