Bridgman-type of high pressure cell
Transport Measurements:1.) Electrical resistivity
Phyrophilte ring (outer diam. 3.4 mm, diam. of sample chamber 2.0 mm) with steatite (white sheet) and on top two samples. They are brigded by a Pb-wire, which serves as pressure gauge.
Fig.1:2 samples (vertical) and a Pb-wire (horizontal) Fig.2: Au-wires are attached to the samples and
Pb-strip across the gasket.
Fig3.: Similar arrangement as in Fig.2
2.) Thermoelectrical power
A figure with the set-up and a short description can be found in the recent paper.
3.) ac-calorimetry
More details about electrical resistivity and thermoelectrcial power can be found in the article by D. Jaccard et al., Rev. High Pressure Sci. Technol. 7, 412-418 (1998) or in the pdf-file Jaccard98.pdf.
A short description about the ac-calorimetry can be found in the article by F. Bouquet et al., Solid State Commun. 113, 367-371 (2000)
and by H. Wilhelm, see also papers about CePd2Ge2
