Obituary Prof. Dr. Jürgen Kübler

Claudia Felser and the staff of the ‘Topological Quantum Chemistry’ department were deeply saddened to hear of the sudden death of Prof. Dr. Jürgen Kübler on 26 January 2025 at the age of 89.

Until a few years ago, Prof. Kübler was a regular scientific guest at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids and co-author of some of the department's important publications. Until shortly before his death, he was in regular contact and correspondence with the institute and was a valued discussion partner for many former and current employees.
