Alexander Steppke is honored with the Otto Hahn Medal

Alexander Steppke from the Physics of Quantum Materials department is honored with the Otto Hahn Medal of the Max Planck Society for the year 2014. This prize is awarded to young scientists for outstanding scientific achievements at the beginning of their careers.

Alexander Steppke is awarded for the discovery of e ferro-magnetic quantum critical point in the compound YbNi4(P1-xAsx)2.
