Recently elected Section Gender Equality Officers of the Max Planck Society

The elections of the Section Gender Equality Officers of the Max Planck Society for the period from May 2019 to May 2021 took place from 04^th to 23^rd of April 2019. Gudrun Auffermann was elected as Section Gender Equality Officer of the Chemistry, Physics and Technology Section. The Section Gender Equality Officers and their deputies play a central role in achieving equal opportunities between the sexes in the Max Planck Society. They support the research organization and its key players in the gender-appropriate treatment of all internal and external processes at the level of the Section. They support appointment and induction procedures relating to scientific positions with management functions (W2 and W3) and attend in their function the governing bodies at Section level: meetings of the Section, Scientific Council and Perspective Commission.
