Our institute provides first aid for mental health problems

Have you been feeling empty, depressed or burnt out for a while? Is work getting on top of you or is stress getting the better of you? Are you struggling with anxiety or panic? Do you feel emotionally vulnerable or mentally unwell? The Mental Health First Aid team is here for you...!

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally certified programme that helps to identify the signs and symptoms of mental illness and, on the basis of first aid measures, to support those affected and provide further help in an uncomplicated manner.

The first aiders for mental health are trained and certified according to the MHFA principle by Zentralinstitut für Seelische Gesundheit Mannheim. It is not their job to diagnose or treat those affected. But they are there to listen, offer uncomplicated first aid and refer people to professional organisations or people who can provide professional help. Confidentiality is of course the top priority.
