ITS Outstanding Achievement in Thermoelectrics Award for Yuri Grin
During the 4st International and 7th Asian Conference on Thermoelectrics 2025 (June 2025, Sendai, Japan), Professor Yuri Grin, Director em. at the Max-Planck-Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids, was honoured by the ITS Outstanding Achievement in Thermoelectrics Award.
This is the most prestigious distinction of the International Thermoelectric Society for distinguished members of the scientific and engineering community whose contributions in theoretical, experimental, synthetic or device research in the field of thermoelectrics are publicly available. First initiated in 2011, it recognizes remarkable contributions to the field of thermoelectrics, in scholarship and service to the thermoelectric community. Each year, the award recipient is invited to deliver an honorary lecture the ICT Conference.
