Humboldt Research Fellowship for Hilary Noad
Warmest congratulations to Dr Hilary Noad, who has been awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers. Hilary, who did her PhD at Stanford University in the group of Prof Kam Moler, will spend her time as a Humboldt Fellow working in the Physics of Quantum Materials department, with Dr Cliff Hicks and Prof Andy Mackenzie. She will study unconventional superconductors subjected to high uniaxial pressures, exploring the physics of density waves and searching for quantum oscillations via the Shubnikov - de Haas effect. We very much look forward to working with her.
