Wilhelm Heraeus Junior Visiting Professorship for Hilary Noad

Congratulations to Hilary Noad, who has received the Wilhelm Heraeus Junior Visiting Professorship for Physics 2025, awarded by the President of Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation.

The prize honours her pioneering contributions in the use of piezoelectric-driven devices for measuring stress-strain relations in quantum materials. As the recipient of this award, she is invited to conduct research and teach on a topic of her choice for at least six weeks in cooperation with the Physics department at GU Frankfurt.

In her visit to GU Frankfurt at the end of October, Hilary gave the Physics department colloquium and lectured on piezoelectric uniaxial pressure cells.
