Julie Karel leaving for Monash University

Dr. Julie Karel (Solid State Chemistry Department) has accepted a tenure-track position in the Materials Science and Engineering Department at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, commencing November 2016.  There she will continue her work studying novel thin film materials for nano- and magneto-electronic applications.  While her research will take extensive advantage of facilities such as the Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication and the Australian Synchrotron, she still plans to actively collaborate with Professor Dr. Claudia Felser and her colleagues at the MPI CPfS.
