Best for Poster Award Büşra Mete at ECMetAC Days

IMPRS-CPQM Student Büşra Mete wins Best Poster award at European CMetAC
meeting in Split, Croatia

The European Integrated Center for the Development of New Metallic Alloys and Compounds (ECMetAC) took place at the University of Split in Croatia on November 21 – 24, 2022. The main purpose of ECMetAC Days is to provide comprehensive information on recent results achieved within the current year of the ECMetAC network and to discuss directions for future research. The crystal structures of new metallic alloys and compounds, materials for catalysis, high-entropy alloys, thermoelectric materials were discussed during the conference. Among them, a judging committee selected the best posters, based on the level of research, quality of the poster, and clarity of the presentation.
It’s our special pleasure to announce that Büşra Mete from the department of Chemical Metals Science at MPI-CPfS was awarded the best poster prize for her work on Nb-Ni binary compounds in oxygen evolution reaction. We congratulate Büşra on her success.
